Increasing your stamina is essential for your success at building your muscles and increasing your strength. The reason: you need stamina to last long enough during intense strength training workouts. Pumping iron is much harder when your stamina is low, and when your stamina is low, you can’t build the muscle you want because you’ll be struggling only after a few reps. However, when you increase your stamina, you can work out for longer times and increase your reps without breaking a sweat.
But the importance of increasing your stamina goes way beyond strength training. Having more stamina also affects how you feel throughout the day. Usually, people who don’t participate in much daily activity tend to have less energy throughout the day - especially if they work a 9-5 JOB everyday. The same applies for school/college students as well. You need to exercise each and everyday in order to increase your work or school performance. With the stamina increase, you’ll perform much better at work and/or at school. Guaranteed.
Listen: The Human Body Was Made To Be Active. When you develop the habit of sitting around all day, your body gets used to it. So when you finally decide to do something active, your body won’t have as much stamina to complete whatever it is you’re doing. But when you develop the habit of daily exercise, your body will last longer and you’ll feel much better about yourself.
So train your stamina - each and everyday.
